Central Oklahoma Off-Premise Sales Representative
Oklahoma City, OK

Job Description

The Central Oklahoma Off-Premise Sales Representative will work with our current area Sales Representative, our Director of Off-Premise Sales and our distribution partner throughout the territory to expand our in-market sales activities for off-premise (liquor, convenience and grocery) outlets, to include customer development, customer retention, sales planning, events and product launches.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • 2-week immersion with sales staff in Oklahoma City
  • Knowledge of production and events
  • Assist Director of Off-Premise Sales in development and execution of strategic sales plans
  • Day travel throughout the territory
  • Build, maintain and enhance relationships with customers
  • Lead new product launch promotions with distributors and customers
  • Support customer sales efforts through event promotions and attendance, point of sale materials development and delivery, co-branding opportunities, etc.
  • Quarterly and annual development of local market business plans
  • Periodic attendance of sales and marketing staff meetings
  • Work with marketing staff to develop customer-specific product promotional materials, point of sale materials, event materials, etc.
  • Work with Events and Marketing Team on product launches and special events
  • Provide customer service support to customers directly and via distributor
  • Manage database records of potential, current and former customers
  • Manage, monitor and evaluate sales numbers as they relate to budgeted/forecasted sales
  • Pursue, manage and adapt company and personal sales objectives
  • Knowledge and/or adherence to company’s safety and pandemic protocols

Candidate Qualifications

Absolute (don’t apply without these)

  • At least two years’ experience in craft beer marketing, sales or hospitality management
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to excel in instances of limited direction
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Dedicated sense of urgency and drive to achieve objectives
  • Ability to succeed in, and contribute to, a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying levels of importance and difficulty
  • Ability to travel to outside markets and industry conferences at least two weeks per year (when company resumes non-essential travel)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • Desire to work hard, play hard and get things done

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least four years’ experience in beer, wine, spirits or food industries
  • Experience managing customer relationships and experiences

Packaging Technician

Job Description

The Packaging Technician will function in all tasks and materials associated with setting up, running and shutting down the appropriate equipment for kegging, canning and bottling beer.

Job Responsibilities

  •  1-week immersion with operations, brewing and cellar team
  • Knowledge of integration with sales, marketing, events and administration staff
  • Operation of can filler, bottling line, keg filler, centrifuge and all associated equipment
  • Regular maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, CIP, set-up and tear-down of all packaging equipment
  • Report daily progress, challenges and concerns to Packaging Lead
  • Assist in preparation and execution of weekly orders
  • Maintain clear direction and professionalism in the face of challenges and adversity
  • Maintain high levels of efficiency and follow proper protocol
  • Work with QA/QC department to maintain packaging standards
  • Work varying shifts – primarily afternoons, evenings and weekends
  • Maintain a clean working and packaging environment
  • Knowledge and compliance with all safety protocol and PPE implementation including but not limited to masks and social distancing

Candidate Qualifications

  • Familiarity with sanitary processes
  • Display knowledge of mechanical equipment and ability to troubleshoot on the fly
  • Ability to lift 50lb shoulder high and 100lb waist high
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to work on your feet for an entire shift
  • Competence with all forms of safety protocol
  • Detail oriented and diligent record keeper
  • Ability to work occasional weekends
  • Desire to work hard, play hard and get things done

Preferred

  • Food or beverage packing systems and process experience
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment (ex. Forklift/Auto jack)
  • Familiarity with beer and brewing processes
