Sales Representative
Eastern Oklahoma

Job Description

  • The Eastern Oklahoma Sales Representative will work with our Oklahoma Market Manager as well as our distribution partner throughout the territory to expand our in-market sales activities for retail outlets, to include customer development, customer retention, sales planning, events, and product launches.

 

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • 2-week sales and events immersion with staff in Tulsa and Oklahoma City
  • Assist Oklahoma Market Manager in development and execution of strategic sales plans
  • Day travel throughout the territory
  • Build, maintain and enhance relationships with customers
  • Lead new product launch promotions with distributors and customers
  • Support customer sales efforts through event promotions and attendance, point of sale materials development and delivery, co-branding opportunities, etc.
  • Quarterly and annual development of local market business plans
  • Periodic attendance of sales and marketing staff meetings
  • Work with marketing staff to utilize customer-specific product promotional materials, point of sale materials, event materials, etc.
  • Coordinate, schedule and attend events throughout territory
  • Provide customer service support to customers directly and via distributor
  • Manage database records of potential, current and former customers
  • Manage, monitor and evaluate sales numbers as they relate to budgeted/forecasted sales
  • Pursue, manage, and adapt company and personal sales objectives
  • Knowledge and or adherence to company’s safety and pandemic protocols

 

 

Candidate Qualifications

  • Absolute (please apply if this reflects your experience)
    • Ability to obtain and ABLE license
    • At least two years’ experience in craft beer marketing, sales or hospitality management
    • Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to excel in instances of limited direction
    • Excellent interpersonal, communications, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
    • Dedicated sense of urgency and drive to achieve objectives
    • Ability to succeed in, and contribute to, a multi-disciplinary team environment
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying levels of importance and difficulty
    • Ability to travel to outside markets and industry conferences at least two weeks per year
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Available to work evenings and weekends

 

  • Preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • At least two years’ experience in beer, wine, spirits, or food industries
    • Experience managing customer relationships and experiences

Graphic Designer
Oklahoma City Oklahoma

Job Description

  • The Graphic Designer will work with the VP of Operations and Marketing Managers to conceptualize, design, and implement creative graphics and content across our current brands COOP Ale Works, TampicoTM Hard Punch, and SONICTM Hard Beverages as well as work with agency-designed assets to personalize creative for distributor needs.

 

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Able to receive a license from Oklahoma ABLE Commission
  • Adherence to all safety and pandemic protocol
  • Keen understanding of design systems and brand development
  • Manage utilization and archive of all project work across multiple brands
  • Develop and design layouts for print and digital application inclusive of copy and images for sales collateral, digital ads, onsite promotional materials (banners, printed collateral), etc.
  • Connect with outside print vendors, relaying specifications, requests for pricing, acquiring lead times and submitting press-ready files for production
  • Create layouts and graphics for company websites and social media platforms
  • Capable of working on multiple design projects in tandem, using strong organizational skills
  • Interpersonal engagement within the Marketing team to communicate concepts, project status, and any requirements needed from team members.
  • Update existing presentations and collateral, design new ones, create branded collateral for presentations and trade shows
  • Assist Marketing team with edits to digital assets (email, landing pages, and more)
  • Manage design revisions and approval of artwork and information accuracy

 

Candidate Qualifications

  • Absolute (don’t apply without these)
    • 3 to 4 years of graphic design experience required
    • Degree in graphic design or a related field
    • Prior graphic design experience for a CPG brand (not required but appreciated)
    • The ability to speak and or write in Spanish is a plus
    • A compelling portfolio with projects highlighting your skills
    • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Decisiveness
    • Attention to detail is a must

Vice-President of Sales and Distribution

Job Description

The Vice-President of Sales and Distribution will be responsible for all sales and distribution planning and execution. This includes core COOP Ale Works products, as well as products operating within its wholly owned subsidiary, COOP Beverage Works. These brands include Sonic Hard Seltzer, Sonic Hard Southern Sweet Tea, Sonic Hard Slush, Tampico Hard Punch and other products/brands that are in development. Continued expansion of our national distribution network, as well as engagement and support of our current distribution partners (more than 250), will be critical during the forthcoming phases of growth. This individual will lead the Director of National Chain Sales, the Regional Development Managers, and their collective teams. The role requires strong strategic planning skills, acute attention to mentoring and deep experience in the three-tier system of alcoholic beverages.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop remainder of the national distribution network within the United States
  • Lead annual business planning exercises with sales teams and distribution partners, ensuring critical participation in launch activities, growth strategies, incentive programming and marketing execution
  • Identify and correct distribution gaps related to product authorizations and mandates throughout chain and independent retailers throughout national territory, and maintain compliance
  • Lead the development and maintenance of strategic relationships with distributors and retailers, in order to achieve maximum product saturation and velocity in individual product and market channels, and to ensure near-term and long-term partner accountability and commitment
  • Work with Product Development and Marketing teams to facilitate integrated go-to-market strategies for existing and new brands/products
  • Develop and execute launch and growth strategies for current and future brands and products
  • Work with Business Intelligence team to fine tune quarterly and annual forecasting exercises, integrating distributor, retailer and consumer feedback, as well as Nielsen, IRI and other intelligence into exercises
  • Lead sales process development, mentor team members and promote individual development and growth
  • Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts, evaluating return on investment and maximizing productivity of individual areas of spend associated with individual brands, territories and programs
  • Work with Financial Planning and Analysis team to develop and execute KPI reporting for the CEO and other members of the management team
  • Work with Business Intelligence team to drive all product pricing and market pricing audit plans

 

Candidate Qualifications

  • Ability to permanently relocate to Oklahoma City
  • Able to receive a license from Oklahoma ABLE Commission
  • 10+ years’ experience directly managing sales teams with a focus on large regional or national consumer packaged goods, preferably in the alcoholic beverage markets
  • Fundamental understanding and practical application of data analysis and statistics, as well as familiarity with NielsenIQ, IRI, VIP and data visualization dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Keen understanding of the three-tier system, legal framework, restrictions and operating environment
  • Acute focus on relationship building, mentoring and employee professional development
  • Strong experience developing and managing budgets, as well as the accountability and productivity of team members (new and tenured alike)
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to excel in instances of limited direction
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Dedicated sense of urgency and drive to achieve objectives
  • Detail oriented and diligent record keeper
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Deep and broad executional knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to travel up to one week a month
