Brewing and Cellaring Specialist
Oklahoma City, OK

Current distribution includes Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri and Texas. Job Description

The brewing and cellaring position will be responsible for brewing, tank management and maintaining smooth production operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • 1-week immersion with Operations, Brewing and Packaging Teams
  • Operation of mill, brewhouse, cellar and all associated equipment
  • CIP/CUP of tanks, hoses and fittings
  • Monitoring, pressurizing, purging and carbonating beer tanks
  • Tank flavoring additions with specialized equipment
  • Beer transfer/centrifuge operation
  • Yeast handling
  • Assist in all forms of packaging as well as shipping and receiving
  • Cleaning all areas of the brewery
  • Process and SOP feedback
  • General facility and equipment maintenance
  • Coordination with production and packaging staff for prioritization of tank and beer management
  • Work with QA/QC department to maintain brewing and packaging standards
  • Knowledge and compliance with all safety and PPE implementation including but not limited to masks and social distancing

Candidate Qualifications

Absolute (don’t apply without these)

  • 100+ batches brewed (homebrew or production)
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to excel in instances of limited direction
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Dedicated sense of urgency and drive to achieve objectives
  • Strong knowledge of brewing science and techniques
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with varying levels of importance and difficulty
  • Mechanical intuition
  • Ability to stand, crawl, pull, twist and jump for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift 50lb shoulder high and 100lb waist high
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to work on your feet for an entire shift
  • Competence with all forms of safety protocol
  • Detail oriented and diligent record keeper
  • Desire to work hard, play hard and get things done
  • Ability to work both 1st and 2nd shifts and weekends

Preferred

  • Food or beverage packaging systems and process experience
  • Knowledge of chemical use, storage and safety
  • General knowledge of brewing and packaging

Senior GL Accountant

Job Description

The Senior GL Accountant will report to the Controller and will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions including but not limited to, general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, month end close and financial statement preparation. The person in the role will have the unique opportunity to build processes and procedures and will require the ability to flex with evolving priorities of a rapidly scaling organization.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare month-end journal entires, reconcile general ledger accounts and provide monthly close deliverables
  • Reconcile beginning raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods inventory
  • Ensure accounting software and ERP integration accuracy and operational integrity
  • Assist Controller in preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Assist Controller with monthly budget various analysis
  • Assist Controller with cash management analysis
  • Assist Controller with regulatory licensing and reporting compliance
  • Perform fixed asset project tracking and analysis
  • Provide operational reports as needed to various business functions
  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls and policies
  • Assist with annual tax return compliance documentation
  • Assist with annual audit engagement with outside accounting firm
  • Assist in driving continuous process and procedural improvements
  • Adherence to all safety and pandemic protocol

Candidate Qualifications

Absolute

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years accounting experience
  • Experience executing a variety of accounting functions, including consolidated financial statements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Able to receive a license from Oklahoma ABLE Commission
  • Commitment to absolute attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and innovative, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and to prioritize workload to meet weekly/monthly deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with various accounting software and ERP systems
  • Experience building or managing a team
  • Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using QuickBooks is a plus
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Preferred

  • CPA or CPA eligible with plan to pursue
  • Manufacturing and food/beverage accounting experience

Market Development Manager

Job Description

The Market Development Manager will work with the Senior Director of Sales and fellow Market Development Managers to develop, communicate and monitor multi-state sales and distribution activities for their assigned markets. This encompasses SONIC Hard Seltzer, COOP Ale Works and any subsequent brands. In addition to developing, maintaining and enhancing distributor relationships, the Market Development Manager will manage central relationships with Multi-Outlet-Retail (MOR) buyers, monitor mandated placements, develop, sell, execute and support feature sales in MOR’s.

Job Responsibilities

  • Immersion with the Sales Team
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Eligible to receive a license from the Oklahoma ABLE Commission (certain felony convictions are not eligible for licensing)
  • Working under the Sales Director, implement a sales strategy as it relates to their market and the broader sales and national MOR strategy
  • Continuously develop and implement a forecast for their markets
  • Travel at least 15 days per year to meet with key distributor and MOR contacts
  • Develop and implement budgets for their markets annually
  • Represent the company professionally and positively in all work settings
  • Use CRM and reporting tools to maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive record of key interactions between COOP and distributors as well as COOP and retail customers
  • Conceptualize, implement and execute sales incentives aimed at increasing sales in given territory, and maximizing share of mind within our distributor partners
  • Work with Marketing team for best in class point of sale material specific to your MOR’s
  • Serve as Point-of-Contact for all distributor partners
  • Various administrative duties as delegated by Sales Director

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior sales and/or distribution experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel competency equivalent to top 25% percentile of users

Job Description

The Marketing Manager, Media & Digital Marketing will work with the Director of Marketing to manage COOP Ale Works and SONIC Hard Seltzer digital marketing and media strategies.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Define and implement a media strategy based on business needs and solid KPIs that aligns with the overarching marketing and sales strategies for both COOP Ale Works and SONIC Hard Seltzer
  • Lead and manage local media strategy and key KPIs
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for media agency, essentially serving as project manager as it relates to all work assigned to agency and ensuring best in class media plans are implemented in the marketplace
  • Develop and lead content marketing strategy with the aim of creating assets appropriate for each channel involved in the marketing mix, with a specific focus on digital channels
  • Manage social media platforms on a day-to-day basis, providing feedback in the form of analytics reports and learnings on a regular basis
  • Manage and identify key influencers for the local market to help deliver further reach and engagement via their audiences for COOP Ale Works and/or SONIC Hard Seltzer, specifically related to content marketing
  • Work alongside Marketing Manager, Events, Sponsorships & Public Relations, and Assistant Marketing Manager, Visual Merchandising & Branded Merchandise, to develop and produce creative and brand assets and ensure that all creative assets related to sponsorships meet brand standards
  • Ensure regular email marketing schedules in line with overall communications strategy
  • Work with creative agency to design on-brand email creative that maps back to overall marketing campaigns of the moment
  • Ensure brand websites are consistently updated to reflect most current information and creative
  • Consistently seek out new and innovative approaches to email and website marketing
  • Ensure partner eCommerce and product focused websites are consistently updated with approved imagery and product descriptions
  • Identify eCommerce related marketing opportunities with mass accounts to help drive brand awareness and sell through
  • Oversee Marketing Coordinator and ensure they are consistently delivering on goals and objectives

Candidate Qualifications
