Cellarman

Job Description

The Cellarman will be responsible for beer and tank management from fermentation through packaging.

Job Responsibilities

  • 1-week immersion with Operations, Brewing and Packaging Teams
  • CIP/CUP of tanks, hoses and fittings
  • Monitoring, pressurizing, purging and carbonating beer tanks
  • Tank flavoring additions with specialized equipment
  • Beer transfer/centrifuge operation
  • Yeast handling
  • Assist in all forms of packaging as well as shipping and receiving
  • Cleaning all areas of the brewery
  • Process and SOP feedback
  • General facility and equipment maintenance
  • Coordination with production and packaging staff for prioritization of tank and beer management
  • Knowledge and compliance with all safety protocol and PPE implementation including but not limited to masks and social distancing

Candidate Qualifications

Absolute (don’t apply without these)

  • Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to excel in instances of limited direction
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Dedicate sense of urgency and drive to achieve objectives
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with varying levels of importance and difficulty
  • Mechanical intuition
  • Ability to lift 50 lb shoulder high and 100 lb waist high
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to work on your feet for an entire shift
  • Competence with all forms of safety protocol
  • Detail oriented and diligent record keeper
  • Desire to work hard, play hard and get things done
  • Ability to work both 1st and 2nd shifts and weekends

Preferred

  • Food or beverage packaging systems and process experience
  • Knowledge of chemical use, storage and safety
  • General knowledge of brewing and packaging

Central Oklahoma On Premise Sales Representative

Job Description

The Central Oklahoma On Premise Sales Representative will work with our current area On Premise Director as well as our distribution partner throughout the territory to expand our in-market sales activities for on-premise (bars and restaurants) outlets, to include customer development, customer retention, sales planning, events and product launches.

Job Responsibilities 

  • 2-week sales and events immersion with staff in Oklahoma City
  • Assist Sales Director in development and execution of strategic sales plans
  • Day travel throughout the territory
  • Build, maintain and enhance relationships with customers
  • Lead new product launch promotions with distributors and customers
  • Support customer sales efforts through event promotions and attendance, point of sale materials development and delivery, co-branding opportunities, etc.
  • Quarterly and annual development of local market business plans
  • Periodic travel to future out-of-state markets to assist with new market launches
  • Periodic attendance of sales and marketing staff meetings
  • Work with marketing staff to develop customer-specific product promotional materials, point of sale materials, event materials, etc.
  • Provide customer service support to customers directly and via distributor
  • Analyze and develop sales opportunity from company provided sales software, such as VIP
  • Must enter daily and weekly recaps in Customer Relations Management software
  • Manage, monitor and evaluate sales numbers as they relate to budgeted/forecasted sales
  • Able to maintain an expense budget
  • Pursue, manage and adapt company and personal sales objectives
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company’s safety and pandemic protocols

Candidate Qualifications

  • At least two years’ experience in craft beer marketing, sales or hospitality management
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to excel in instances of limited direction
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Dedicated sense of urgency and drive to achieve objectives
  • Ability to succeed in, and contribute to, a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying levels of importance and difficulty
  • Ability to travel to outside markets and industry conferences at least two weeks per year
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • Desire to work hard, play hard and get things done

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least two years’ experience in beer, wine, spirits or food industries
  • Experience managing customer relationships and experiences

Salary and Benefits

COOP Ale Works offers competitive salaries based on experience. This position is paid through a combination of base pay and quarterly sales bonuses. Warehouse and Packaging Assistant

Job Description

The warehouse and packaging assistant position will function in all tasks and materials assisting setting up, running and shutting down the appropriate equipment for kegging and canning beer and seltzer.

Job Responsibilities

  • 1-week immersion with packaging team
  • Operation of can filler, keg filler and all associated equipment
  • Report daily progress, challenges and concerns to Packaging Lead
  • Assist in preparation and execution of weekly orders
  • Maintain clear direction and professionalism in the face of challenges and adversity
  • Maintain high levels of efficiency and follow proper protocol
  • Work with QA/QC department to maintain packaging standards
  • Work varying shifts
  • Maintain a clean working and packaging environment
  • Knowledge and compliance with all safety protocol and PPE implementation including but not limited to masks and social distancing
