Market Development Manager
Oklahoma City, OK

COOP Ale Works is a twelve-year-old production/packaging craft brewery located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Distribution includes six states and counting. As we grow into new concepts, new markets and new products, one of our goals is to continue to build the root structure of our brands, our beers and our reputation as a leading craft brewery. Job Description

The Market Development Manager will work with the Senior Director of Sales and fellow Market Development Managers to develop, communicate and monitor multi-state sales and distribution activities for their assigned markets. This encompasses SONIC Hard Seltzer, COOP Ale Works and any subsequent brands. In addition to developing, maintaining and enhancing distributor relationships, the Market Development Manager will manage central relationships with Multi-Outlet-Retail (MOR) buyers, monitor mandated placements, develop, sell, execute and support feature sales in MOR’s.

Job Responsibilities

  • Immersion with the Sales Team
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Eligible to receive a license from the Oklahoma ABLE Commission (certain felony convictions are not eligible for licensing)
  • Working under the Sales Director, implement a sales strategy as it relates to their market and the broader sales and national MOR strategy
  • Continuously develop and implement a forecast for their markets
  • Travel at least 15 days per year to meet with key distributor and MOR contacts
  • Develop and implement budgets for their markets annually
  • Represent the company professionally and positively in all work settings
  • Use CRM and reporting tools to maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive record of key interactions between COOP and distributors as well as COOP and retail customers
  • Conceptualize, implement and execute sales incentives aimed at increasing sales in given territory, and maximizing share of mind within our distributor partners
  • Work with Marketing team for best in class point of sale material specific to your MOR’s
  • Serve as Point-of-Contact for all distributor partners
  • Various administrative duties as delegated by Sales Director
  • Adherence to all safety and pandemic protocols

Candidate Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior sales and/or distribution experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel competency equivalent to top 25% percentile of users
  • Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles
  • Excellent computer, problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Advanced organizational skills
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of work situations

Digital Media and Events Coordinator

Job Description

The Digital Media and Events Coordinator will work under the direction of the Sr. Marketing Manager, Digital and Paid Media to cultivate the success of both digital and paid representation of the brand(s). They will also work with our Oklahoma Events Manager to select, plan, and attend upcoming events. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team, sales team, product development team, distribution partners and outside vendors to create effective and efficient marketing executions focused on growing audiences for all current and future products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work directly and collaborate with Sr. Marketing Manager, Digital and Paid Media and other Marketing leadership to create content for our social platforms and manage a wide range of digital and paid projects
  • Attend events and assist in execution and planning of all aspects of our community outreach.
  • Participate in regular meetings with digital media manager and marketing team to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions
  • Attend and participate at conventions and events preparing engaging displays and creating digital content from the event as needed and providing post-event reports and analysis
  • Manage digital project outcomes by supporting customer tracking, coordination and strategizing on campaign management
  • Assist with all digital marketing efforts, including influencer marketing, according to our annual digital marketing plan
  • Collaborate with respective teams on digital marketing efforts (product, sales and services, technology, and marketing teams)
  • Responsible for organizing historical data, archives, storage, and proof of performance of client campaigns and investments
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Candidate Qualifications

  • Absolute (don’t apply without these)
    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or relevant field
    • Should have 1-2 years of experience in marketing or related field
    • Excellent resourcefulness and time management skills
    • Analytical and creative thinking
    • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
    • Mastery of Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
    • Must be 21 years of age
    • Must be able to obtain an ABLE license
  • Preferred
    • Experience in social media management (Instagram and TikTok preferred)
    • Experience in content creation
    • Experience in photography or videography
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products

The Visual Marketing and Events Coordinator will work under the direction of the Brand Manager to cultivate success of visual representation of the brand(s) as well as development of new products. They will also work with our Oklahoma Events Manager to select, plan, and attend any upcoming events. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team, sales team, product development team, distribution partners and outside vendors, to create effective and efficient marketing executions focused on growing audiences for all current and future products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work directly with, and collaborate with visual and marketing leadership on product development and all consumer facing POS
  • Attend events and assist in execution and planning of all aspects of our community outreach.
  • Participate in regular meetings with Brand manager and marketing team to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions
  • Attend and participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis
  • Produce brand catalogs and sales-focused assets, allowing the Marketing department’s goals to be communicated via the Sales team at a granular level
  • Research lifestyle and design trends that will inform the visual merchandising strategy
  • Get to know the customer base and understand their motivation and sales drivers on an ongoing basis
  • Research and monitor industry trends and consumer behavior to anticipate demand and changes in buying patterns

Candidate Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or relevant field
    • 1-2 years of experience in marketing or related field
