Job Description

The Brand Marketing Specialist will assist in the planning, promotion and execution of all internal and external marketing activities, sales support, product management, social media platforms and website.

Job Responsibilities

  • 1-week operations immersion with staff
  • 2-week sales and events immersion with staff

Marketing support
• Work with leadership to develop marketing and branding strategies for the brewery and its products
• Assist leadership and outside marketing agency with development of advertising and marketing materials
• Provide light graphic design support for projects, products and campaigns managed in-house

Sales support
• Provide support to sales staff during new market and new product launches through development of collateral materials such as glassware, signage, point-of-sale material, clothing and other items
• Manage the sourcing and vendor relationships for all collateral material
• Provide marketing, graphics and information support to distributors, retailers, partners and consumers

Product support
• Assist with the development of new products to release into all markets
• Develop and distribute marketing support material for new products
• Develop and distribute additional marketing support material for existing products
• Develop, source, introduce and manage all consumer merchandise

Digital and social marketing management
• Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
• Develop strategic plans to increase regional consumer reach of all social media platforms
• Provide support to sales staff and regional markets through event and partnership promotions
• Manage website content, platform upgrades and integration with other services

Candidate Qualifications

Absolute (don’t apply without these)
• At least four years’ experience in consumer goods sales or marketing
• Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to excel in instances of limited direction
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, problem solving and conflict resolution skills, with strength in channeling communication through the entire sales and distribution chains
• Dedicated sense of urgency and drive to achieve objectives
• Ability to succeed in, and contribute to, a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying levels of importance and difficulty
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Availability to travel to, and work in, our regional markets as needed
• Desire to work hard, play hard and get things done

• Experience managing customer relationships and experiences
• Experience developing company merchandise and product support collateral
• Professional social media experience
• College degree in relevant field, or equivalent training
• Experience in beer, wine, spirits or food industries
• Cicerone or Sommelier certifications
